Sam Hyre a 1998 Graduate of Robinson High school has been coaching High School Wrestling for over 15 years. Hyre a High School second team all-state Selection went on to Wrestle in College at Millikin University. In his coaching career Hyre has collected 187 dual wins. He has Coached 101 Regional place winners 43 finalists, 21 Regional Champions and 6 State Place winners. Sam started the IESA Junior High School team that is having much success and has become one of the building blocks of a sustained successful wrestling program. Sam is Married to Mickie Hyre the toughest non-wrestling human in the county. He has 4 Children Emily, Shania, Marcus, and Ryder. All Lawrence County Wrestlers. Sam is a huge believer in with the right work you can accomplish anything you set your mind too. Believing in yourself and your teammates will take you all the way.
